My mom loves to tell the story of what I said after my first day of kindergarten: “They didn’t teach me how to read yet!” Thankfully, they did teach me how to read, and I haven’t stopped since. Reading has always been a passion of mine—it helps me learn, grow, and unwind while getting lost in a good story.

 

One of my favorite books to read is the Bible. One verse that has always inspired me is John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

I dreamed of becoming a teacher from a young age, and I am so grateful that my dream came true. I spent many years teaching kindergarten before specializing in helping children learn to read. Supporting parents and cheering on my students as they develop their reading skills is one of my greatest joys.

 

When I’m not reading or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends—especially outdoors,

appreciating the beauty of nature.
